The Base App First Swap Bonus (the “Program”) allows eligible Base App users (“Participants”) who sign up to Base App through a valid referral link to earn a one-time USDC bonus for completing a qualifying first swap in the Base app (the “App”), subject to these Terms.
The Program is administered and operated by Coinbase Bermuda Technologies Limited (“Base”, “we”, or “us”).
Participation in the Program constitutes your acceptance of these Terms, as well as the Base Account and Base App Terms of Service, applicable Privacy Policies, and any other applicable Base App terms, policies, and disclosures, each as amended from time to time.

Certain countries and regions are excluded from participation under this Program, including (without limitation) the Dominican Republic, Italy, Latvia, Malta, Philippines, Singapore, Slovenia, the United Kingdom, and all OFAC-sanctioned countries. Base may apply the same or a different list of eligible and ineligible jurisdictions for this Program, and may update such lists from time to time. The Program is void where prohibited.
In some ineligible jurisdictions, the App may surface Program-related experiences even if users in those jurisdictions are not eligible to participate or receive rewards, in which case any such users will not earn a bonus under this Program.
Under the Program, eligible Participants may earn up to two bonuses:
Under the Program, you may earn at most one bonus per tier: one $10 USDC bonus for completing a first Qualifying Swap of at least $100 USDC (Tier 1) and one $25 USDC bonus for completing a first Qualifying Swap of at least $250 USDC (Tier 2). You cannot receive more than one Tier 1 bonus or more than one Tier 2 bonus under this Program, and your total bonus under the Program is capped at $35 USDC.
Bonuses are denominated and paid only in USDC; no alternative payout currency is available. Bonuses are intended to be paid as a single lump-sum transfer within approximately 24 hours after the applicable Lockup Period is successfully completed and any required checks are satisfied. Actual timing may vary due to operational or compliance factors, and Base may adjust payout timing prospectively.
Program may be modified, suspended, or terminated, in each case as determined by Base in its sole discretion.

Unless otherwise stated in the App, a Qualifying Swap must be executed using the App’s built-in swap experience in assets and on networks that the App currently supports for native swaps (“Supported Assets” and supported networks). Swaps that use bridging, cross-chain functionality, mini-apps, dapp browsers, or other external integrations do not qualify.
The Program uses a minimum portfolio balance requirement.

If your eligibility for a bonus lapses because your total on-platform balance falls below the applicable threshold during the Lockup Period, you may, subject to availability and Base’s discretion, regain eligibility for that bonus by increasing your total on-platform portfolio balance back to at or above the applicable threshold while the Program and your Lockup Period remain active.
Base may limit re-qualification, cap the number of times any user can participate, or otherwise restrict participation to mitigate abuse.

You are solely responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, local, or foreign taxes related to Program rewards. The value of any rewards you receive may be reported for tax purposes as required by law, and you may be required to provide tax reporting information (for example, tax identification numbers or forms) before any reward is paid.
Base and its affiliates may withhold, offset, or deduct amounts from rewards as required by applicable law. Base does not provide tax advice; you should consult your own tax advisor.
Participants may not:
Participants must not misrepresent their relationship with Base or the nature of the Program, make false or misleading statements about the App, Base, or Coinbase, use unlawful tactics to promote the Program, or post or share content in connection with the Program that is illegal, infringing, or otherwise violates App policies.
Base may deny, withhold, cancel, or disable bonuses, or take other reasonable actions where it believes abuse, fraud, or policy violations have occurred, to the extent permitted by applicable law and these Terms.
The Program is a limited-time, limited-availability offer and may be modified, suspended, or terminated at any time in Base’s sole discretion.
Base may change eligibility criteria, regions of availability, reward structures (including bonus amounts), payout thresholds or cadences, lockup mechanics, or other parameters, and may discontinue or replace the Program.
Base may revoke or withdraw the Program (in whole or in part), or any associated benefits, on a prospective basis without any obligation to provide or honor rewards that have not yet been earned, credited, or paid in accordance with these Terms, and may suspend or terminate your participation, with or without notice, if it reasonably believes you have violated these Terms or other applicable policies, engaged in fraud, abuse, self-dealing, or other prohibited conduct, or created risk, harm, or potential liability for Coinbase, Base, or other users.
